Solar flares occurred during this partial eclipse. The small colored flares showing the stage of eclipse are reflections on the lens barrel.
Similar to the last one, a few minutes later, with a bit more obscuring of the sun on the right side of the image.
Less ferry detail, more rainbow.

This smoke was from fires Canada and Eastern Washington. Solar flares clearly show up on the sun as red dots.
